My SA Rewards™ Program Privacy Statement
Northern Tier Retail, LLC, the owner and operator of the My SA Rewards Program (“we,” “our” or “us”), seeks to protect your privacy. This Privacy Statement applies to the Web site www.MySArewards.com or each in-store kiosk located at an owned or franchised SuperAmerica location participating in the My SA Rewards Program (each, a “Site”). By using a Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Statement. This Privacy Statement describes the information we collect on a Site and how we use it, the choices you can make about your information and how we protect your information.
1. The information we collect
We collect your name, postal address, phone number and date of birth and also invite you to supply your email address if you elect to receive My SA Rewards Program offers by email. Providing an email address is not required to become or remain a My SA Rewards Program Member. Enrolling in the My SA Rewards Program is free and voluntary. In addition, we collect information you may provide us with in surveys.
Our Web servers also may automatically collect the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet, the Internet Protocol address of the computer you are using, the Web browser software you use and your operating system, the date and time you access the Site and the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to the Site.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to administer the My SA Rewards Program (for example, processing your rewards).
We also use your information and your My SA Rewards Program Card transactions to create tailored offers for you. We may use your information to administer surveys to My SA Rewards Program Members to help us customize My SA Rewards Program offers for you. Your decision not to participate in a My SA Rewards Program survey will never affect your ability to use the My SA Rewards Program Card to collect points, or to redeem them for rewards. As a Member you may choose to “opt out” of any mailings at any time, or change your mind about what you have previously agreed to receive.
3. Disclosure of your information
We may share your information inside the “My SA Rewards Program Family” of partners participating in the My SA Rewards Program. These partners may include vendors participating in our “clubs” or other programs, including soft drink or snack vendors.
We also limit access to your personal data by companies participating in the My SA Rewards Program. For example, we will not release information that personally identifies you (for example, name, postal address, phone number and email address) to the “My SA Rewards Program Family” of partners participating in the My SA Rewards Program except as part of a mailing list that we create on their behalf to bring you My SA Rewards Program approved offers only. My SA Rewards Program participating companies agree in writing to return or destroy the list after its originally approved use has been met.
We also bind all companies participating in the My SA Rewards Program to our privacy standards and confidentiality rules, which means they are not allowed to share My SA Rewards Program information with anyone outside the My SA Rewards Program for marketing purposes.
We will not share your personal information outside of the My SA Rewards Program, except (1) with third parties for marketing purposes only with your express permission; (2) with third parties that we hire to perform services for us; (3) to comply with legal requirements, such as law, regulation, warrant, subpoena, court order, or with a regulator or law enforcement agency or personnel, or to ensure compliance with the My SA Rewards Program's Terms and Conditions; (4) to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our customers and employees or others; and (5) in connection with a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution or similar event (for example, in the unlikely event that the My SA Rewards Program is ever sold to another company, an essential condition of the sale would require the buyer to adopt all of this Privacy Statement).
4. Your choices and access to your information
We want to keep your information accurate. You can access, review, correct or update the information you have provided.
You may make changes to your Member account information by contacting us using any of the following contact methods:
- Web site at www.mysarewards.com to administer your own account.
- My SA Rewards in-store kiosk at any of our participating SuperAmerica locations.
- Call us toll-free at our Service Center at 1-855-GOT-MYSA between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM Central Time, Monday - Friday.
If you suspect an error in your points balance, we urge you to bring this to our attention in the same ways listed above. We will investigate any potential discrepancies between your records and ours. If we determine that an error has occurred, we will correct it, and make sure you receive the points to which you are entitled.
The Site may allow you to choose to receive or stop receiving communications from us. You may opt out of email programs at any time by following the opt-out instructions provided in the email you receive. You can prevent further use of your information by contacting us using one of the contact methods set forth above.
5. Links to other Web sites
We do not endorse and are not responsible for the information practices or privacy policies of Web sites operated by others that may be linked to or from the Site. If you decide to access a third party’s Web site that may be linked to or from the Site, you should consult that Web site’s privacy policy.
6. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that the Site can place on your computer’s hard drive. When you visit the Site, we may place a cookie on your computer that will allow us to customize and enhance your experience on the Site. We do not store any personal information in this cookie. You can set your Web browser to block cookies, but doing so may affect your ability to access certain features of the Site.
7. Security of your information
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss and misuse. We store all Member data in secure, password-protected databases housed in facilities controlled by security personnel we select and procedures we mandate. Please keep in mind that no Internet transmission is 100% secure. Some email sent to or from the Site may not be secure. Please consider this when sending information to us by email.
8. Children’s privacy
The Site is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We will not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will use reasonable efforts to delete this information. If you have reason to believe we may have accidentally received personal information from a child under the age of 13, please immediately contact us using one of the contact methods in Section 4.

The My SA Rewards Program allows Members to set their own personal privacy boundaries. There are several options to ensure your privacy and control the amount and nature of the marketing and promotional communication you receive from the My SA Rewards Program and our participating companies:
- You can decide to limit the information you provide upon enrollment to only your name and postal address. All other requested information is strictly optional (for example, your email address).
- You may “opt in” and give us your email address to receive communications that way. We will not email you unless you give us explicit permission to do so.
- You may decide to “opt out” of receiving direct mail promotions and offers, other than those contained in the My SA Rewards Program Member Statements we send periodically to active Members showing an updated record of points collected and redeemed.
- If we ever contact you by phone to participate in a brief survey, you may decline at that time, and if desired, opt-out of any more unsolicited phone contact.
If, for any reason, you choose to end your membership in the My SA Rewards Program, we will permanently delete your personally identifying information from our records.
Members who wish to change their privacy boundaries may do so by:
- Update your profile on our Web site at www.mysarewards.com.
- Update your profile on the My SA Rewards in-store kiosk at any of our convenient locations.
- Call us toll-free at our Service Center at 1-855-GOT- MYSA between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM Central Time, Monday - Friday.
We pledge never to use your decision to opt-out of any marketing communication or offer to affect your participation in the My SA Rewards Program, or your ability to earn and redeem Member rewards.
10. Changes to this Privacy Statement
We may modify, alter or update this Privacy Statement at any time, so we encourage you to review this Privacy Statement frequently. We will not provide individual notice to you of changes to this Privacy Statement, but when we make updates to this Privacy Statement, we will update the date in this section. We appreciate your interest and hope that you enjoy visiting the Site.

When accessing our Website, Northern Tier Energy, LLC will learn certain information about you during your visit. How we will handle information we learn about you depends upon what you do when visiting our site.
If you visit our site to read or download information on our pages, we collect and store only the following information about you:
